European window costs vary based on window type, size, quantity, and installation complexity. Because Luft Windows manufactures in the USA and installs with our own crew, we eliminate import markups and subcontractor fees that other companies pass straight to you. European windows are a premium product -- but the gap is smaller than most people expect, especially with Luft. We manufacture locally and install with our own crew, cutting out the costs that drive prices up at other companies. Over time, the energy savings, durability, and low maintenance make European windows a smart investment that often pays for itself.

Yes -- measurably so. Arizona homeowners run air conditioning 8-10 months per year. Upgrading from aluminum or older vinyl windows to our high-performance European systems directly reduces HVAC load. Our best configurations achieve a U-Factor of 0.17 and SHGC of 0.19, cutting solar heat gain significantly and producing real monthly savings on energy bills.
Yes. High-performance windows are a recognized home improvement that increases resale value, particularly in energy-conscious markets. The combination of lower energy bills, modern aesthetics, and superior performance makes European windows a strong selling point -- especially in premium Arizona markets like Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.
A tilt and turn window has two opening modes -- tilt the top inward for secure ventilation while the multi-point lock stays engaged, or turn the full sash inward like a door for maximum airflow and interior cleaning access. Standard double-hung windows only slide up and down with a single latch. Tilt and turn windows also seal far more tightly when closed, dramatically reducing dust, heat, and noise infiltration. Our European window systems meet and exceed ENERGY STAR requirements for the Southern Climate Zone -- the most demanding rating in the US. Best configurations achieve U-Factor 0.17, SHGC 0.19, and air leakage as low as 0.01 cfm/ft2. That means dramatically less solar heat gain, less dust, and significantly lower cooling costs year-round.
Significantly. Standard single-pane windows rate around STC 27. Our laminated double and triple-pane systems achieve STC 42 or higher -- a major reduction in road noise, aircraft, and neighborhood sounds. The compression gasket sealing also eliminates the gaps that let sound in around standard window frames.
We offer a wide range including White, Black, Anthracite Grey, Bronze, Sandstone, and Golden Oak. We also offer dual-color profiles -- a different color on the exterior versus interior -- so you can match your home's exterior while keeping a clean white interior finish. View all frame colors.
Yes. Every window and door is custom built to your exact measurements. There are no standard size limitations -- we accommodate large picture windows, unusual openings, arches, and specialty configurations.
Much better than standard windows. Our triple-layer compression seals and multi-point locking create a near-airtight envelope when closed. Our customers consistently report dramatically less dust infiltration during haboobs versus their previous aluminum or vinyl windows. Air leakage as low as 0.01 cfm/ft2 means virtually no dust, pollen, or outside air gets through.
Tilt and turn windows are designed to be cleaned from inside your home. Turn the sash fully inward to access both interior and exterior glass surfaces without ladders or exterior access. This is one of the most practical advantages of the design, especially for upper-floor windows.
Most residential projects in the Phoenix metro are completed in one to two days depending on the number of windows and doors. New construction timelines are coordinated with the build schedule. We provide a firm timeline upfront -- no surprises.
Because we manufacture in the USA rather than importing from Europe, our lead times are significantly shorter -- typically a few weeks from order confirmation to installation day. Companies importing finished windows from Europe often quote 10-16 week lead times. We don't have that problem.
Never. Every Luft Windows installation is performed by our own trained crew -- not subcontractors. This means consistent quality, a single point of accountability, and a team that knows our products inside and out from the first measurement to the final adjustment.
Yes. We regularly partner with Arizona builders and GCs on new construction and multi-family projects. We offer project pricing, specification support, and professional installation coordination. Get in touch early in the build process for the best results.
Very little maintenance is required. uPVC frames do not need painting, staining, or sealing and won't rot, rust, or warp. We recommend cleaning frames with mild soap and water annually and lubricating hardware with a silicone-based lubricant every year or two. Compression gaskets are built to last decades but can be replaced if needed.
Our European window and door systems come with a 20-year warranty on profiles and frames, a 15-year warranty on hardware, and up to a 10-year warranty on glass depending on configuration. Luft Windows also provides an installation warranty on all work performed by our crew.
Our Arizona-based team is available for repairs, adjustments, and warranty service. Because we're a local company with our own crew -- not a franchise or big-box installer -- you're dealing with the same people who installed your windows. Call or text us at (480) 508-8958 for service requests.
